AP PGECET 2024
AP PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is designed for candidates seeking admission into postgraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Planning offered by various universities and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
*It contains two types of counselling procedures in ap pgecet 2024 i.e: 1.for gate/gpat qualified students and2. ap pgecet entrance test qualified students.

AP PGECET 2024 Counselling Procedure:
The AP PGECET 2024 counseling procedure is a structured process that helps candidates secure admissions into postgraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Planning in Andhra Pradesh. Here’s a step-by-step guide to the procedure:
1. Registration
Candidates who have qualified in the AP PGECET 2024 exam must first register online through the official counseling portal. GATE/GPAT-qualified candidates must also register to participate in the counseling process.
During registration, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable counseling fee online. The fee typically varies by category as for GATE / GPAT candidates Commences Registration Fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.300/- and for others Rs.600/-. .While APPGECET Qualified candidates web counselling Fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.500/- and others Rs.1000/-.
2.Document Verification
After successful registration, candidates must attend the document verification process at designated Help Line Centers (HLCs) or Online document verification in official website..
3.Web Options Entry
After document verification, candidates can log in to the counseling portal and fill in their preferred choices of courses and colleges.It’s important to carefully save the selected options. Candidates can modify their choices within the stipulated time if needed in a particular date.
4.Seat Allotment
Based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, and seat availability, the system will allocate seats.Candidates will receive an SMS notification about their seat allotment and can also check the result online.After allotment, candidates must download the allotment order from the portal.
5. Reporting to Allotted College
Candidates must pay the prescribed tuition fee (if any) to confirm their seat.Finally, candidates must report to the allotted college within the given timeframe, along with the allotment order and required documents, to complete the admission process.
Important Notes
GATE/GPAT Candidates are given priority over AP PGECET candidates during seat allotment.

- AP PGECET 2024 Admit Card and Rank Card
- SSC (Class 10th) Marks Memo
- Intermediate or equivalent Marks Memo
- Degree Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Income Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Local Status Certificate (for candidates who have studied in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana)
Candidates belonging to special categories such as PH, CAP, NCC, and Sports must bring relevant certificates for verification.
