The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is conducting counselling for admission across all engineering institutes in India, such as IITs , NITs, IIITs and GFTIs .Through the Josaa online counselling 2025in official site i.e;https://josaa.nic.in/ ,Those josaa 2025 opening and closing rank considering jee 2025 qualified candidates.All details are given below .
The counselling for the year 2025 will follow in a structured manner,The candidates who have qualified in either JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 are eligible to participate in josaa counselling 2025.
Introduction
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 127 institutes for the academic year 2025-26. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 47 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
The JoSAA 2025 Registration and Choice Filling process will begin on June 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and will remain opens upto June 12, 2025, 5:00 PM. During this time, candidates must log in to the official JoSAA portal by using their JEE credentials and fill in their choices of institutes and branches in order of preference and candidates can change their preference as many times their wish to change the institutes.
JoSAA Counselling 2025 Key Dates:
Registration & Choice Filling: June 3 (5 PM) to June 12 (5 PM)
Mock Seat Allocation 1: June 9 (2 PM)
Mock Seat Allocation 2: June 11 (12:30 PM)
Last Date for Registration & Choice Filling: June 12 (5 PM)
Online Reporting, Fee Payment & Document Upload: For each round, typically spans 4–5 days post seat allotment.
Withdrawal/Exit Options: Available after Rounds 2 to 5
After the choice filling closes, the first round of seat allotment will be announced on June 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM Candidates who are allotted seats must confirm their admission by uploading documents, paying the seat acceptance fee, and reporting online to the allotted institute.
The subsequent seat allotment rounds will be held as follows:
Round 2:June 21, 2025
Round 3: June 28, 2025
Round 4: July 4, 2025
Round 5: July 10, 2025
Round 6:July 16, 2025
Candidates who wish to withdraw or exit the counselling process can do so after rounds 2 to 5. After round 6, no further changes will be allowed, and candidates must report to the allotted institutions as per the final instructions.
This counselling ensures that the admissions are done in a transparent and merit-based manner across all participating institutes.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have qualified JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2 or JEE (Advanced) 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process .
